The Gaming Experiment

I was able to pick you the New Super Mario Bros for the Wii. I really enjoyed the DS version a couple years ago. My family and girlfriend are really having a great time playing this one. I hope this is as good the DS version!

My Love of fighting games continued this week with my purchase of Tekken 6 for the PS3. A couple weeks ago, my Fiancee and me went to the movies, and there was a Tekken 5 arcade machine. We played it for a bit, and she beat me 2/3. So I decided to pull out the Street Fighter IV sticks and we will have a rematch soon!

What games are you guys playing now?

This weekend I want to play some games that have a spooky vibe to them. I will try to play some Condemned 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and maybe some Resident Evil 4 for the Wii.

But I downloaded a PC game a couple days ago called Torchlight. I've played it for a bit, and it has been a lot of fun, and I will definitely be playing it more. It's a Diablo Clone that is really a lot of fun; but I have one thing I must admit, I have never played Diablo or Diablo 2... I am enjoying Torchlight though, and for $20 on Steam, it's a fantastic deal!

I think this week is another one without a completed game. I have work to do on Sunday, and it's my birthday, so I might not be able to sneak in as much time into gaming as I would have hoped.

But I will be playing some Brutal Legend with my Fiancee, and maybe jump into some Uncharted 2!

Wow, what an awful week. I’ve been working really hard, and everything that could go wrong has been going wrong. The company that I work at just went live with a new financial system and we have to close the books in parallel with our old system.

Have I bored you yet? Sorry if I have. But it’s the weekend now, so it’s time to sit back, relax and have some fun! So last week I beat ODST (review forthcoming), this week I am hoping to play some more Batman. It’s really a great game and I definitely need and want to finish it.

I’ll also be looking at some houses this weekend, so I’ll be on the road. I think that I’ll pop in some Peggle DS, Scribblenauts (which I am not a big fan of, but I’m still giving a chance to), and the old standby of New Super Mario Bros.

My new game purchases have started to pile up, so I’ll be updating the site with my new additions over the next week or so. And with Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend coming out, this will be tough!

After a really long week at work, I'm going to try to relax with some video games. Primarily ODST. I love the firefight mode as you read in a previous post, and now it's time to finish the single player story.

I am still fighting off the urge to buy a PSPgo. What are you going to be playing this weekend?

First, let me start off with an apology, I wasn’t able to actually finish a game for last week. But I am hoping that this week, I’ll be able to put a fork into Batman Arkham Asylum or maybe finish ODST, I hear the campaign isn't too long!

Work has been pretty hectic so week night gaming has been limited to say the least. Now with the weekend within grasp, gaming will ensue.

Like I said before, Batman Arkham Asylum will definitely be played. What a fantastic game that, so far, has been worth the play. I also picked up Halo 3: ODST and played some firefight with some friends last night, and that’s a really fantastic game mode. I’ll definitely be playing some more Scribblenauts, trying to give the game a chance, even if the controls are broken.

What are you playing this weekend? The heavy gaming season is officially upon us, whats next on your game list, for me it’s going to be Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, and Fallout 3: GOTY edition.
