Another One To The Pile
December 2nd, 2009
One of the first week's that I was doing The Experiment, I was able to finish Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. I recently picked up the second R&C game on the PS3.
A Crack In Time continues the story from the first game, and also the downloadable 'episode' A Quest For Booty. I really enjoyed the first R&C game, and I have a feeling that I will really love this one too! The weapons have always been a strong point of the series, and it seems like this outing doesn't disappoint.
What's your favorite R&C weapon? Mine is the Groovatron!
Another One To The Pile, Digitally
December 1st, 2009I think I might be addicted to buying games. It especially doesnt help that when there is a good deal, I am a sucker for it! This week Steam has been having some really amazing deals on PC games. I was able to pick up a couple.
First was Trine, it's an adventure game in the vain of Lost Vikings. It is normally $20, but for a day, it was half price. There is also a PS3 version.
The second game was a Lucasarts game called Lucidity. Honestly, I've heard very little about this game, but for $2.49, I couldn't pass it up!
Check Out Steam for their deals this week! Let me know what games you guys will be picking up!

Yeah, I know, it's been a while since I've updated what i've added to my pile of games, so this week you'll see a lot of catch up.
I think that I'll start off this first post with a game that I've been playing lately, Assassin's Creed 2. It's obviously a sequel to the 2007 hit Assassin's Creed. Instead of taking place in the late 12th century, the sequel takes place in 15th century Italy with a new Assassin, Ezio Auditore. The reviews have been great so far, with many media outlets saying it's the Game of the Year.
I'm only about 2 hours into the game, but I am definitely enjoying the story and the gameplay is far less repetitive than the previous game. I've not liking the voice acting, their accents are a little forced and a bit grating. But the overall experience has been really positive!
Are you guys playing ACII? what do you think about it? Let me know in the comments!
Any Good Black Friday Pickups?
November 28th, 2009
I am still gaming quite a bit, with the Modern Warfare 2 as my go-to game. But yesterday in the States was Black Friday, a bargain seekers Shangri La. I hate the crowds, but on Amazon, I was able to pick up the Beatles Stereo Box Set for $100. It's a great deal from it's original price of $260.
I didn't buy anything new on the gaming front. How about you guys? We you able to wade through crowds to pick up a great deal?

The reviews have been phenomenal.
Another One To The Pile
November 9th, 2009The crazy rush of fall games is coming to a close this week, with Modern Warfare 2 tomorrow and New Super Mario Bros. Wii on Sunday. But for me, though I will be buying both, my pile still grows with games from weeks past.
When I was a kid, there was this really difficult game called A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia. I liked it, but it was hard. Well, a remake of the game was recently released on the Wii, so I had to pick it up.
I haven't been able to crack it open, and with Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank, Modern Warfare 2, and a billion other games I need to finish before the year is out, this one probably won't be played for a while.

Another game that I picked up in the Gamefly sale was Silent Hill Homecoming. I've been a fan of survival horror games since Resident Evil 2 and with Halloween coming up, I thought it would be a good addition to the library.
My Fiancee has really enjoyed the previous Silent Hill games, so hopefully we can play this one together.
With Halloween just a couple days away, what are some of your favorite scary games to play?
